BASIC FUNCTION:
Performs technical support
duties to meet the operational requirements of Lynch Auditorium.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
v
Designs
set and lighting for all events scheduled at Lynch Auditorium.
v
Sets
up sound equipment and seating configuration for scheduled events.
v
Instructs
in construction of theater sets and supervises students in shop and tool safety.
v
Schedules
and develops master calendar for all activities at the auditorium.
v
Repairs
and maintains all equipment at Lynch Auditorium and shop.
v
Maintains
records and files on purchases and expenditures for the auditorium.
v
Provides
technical support for activities.
v
Assists
in technical work shop classes.
v
Performs
related duties as required.
EDUCATIONAL
REQUIREMENTS:
Two (2) years of college
education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Two (2) years experience in
technical staffing of theatrical productions.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of the electrical
trade. Knowledge of basic mathematics. Knowledge of theatrical set design and
construction. Knowledge of studio equipment for sound reinforcement. Ability to
build theatrical sets. Ability to work with students and faculty.
Communications skills. Reading comprehension skills. Knowledge of basic
mathematics.
